A new home for sport and technology in South Buda

A new chapter has opened in the ÚjbudaOne Logistics Park: the renovated Camugo Sports Hall has been inaugurated, where sport meets the most modern technology. The hall runs the Hungarian-developed Camugo system, which uses artificial intelligence to produce live broadcasts to anywhere in the world without human intervention.
Camugo has become a globally outstanding sports video technology company: its system records the entire court in 8K resolution and then automatically crops broadcast-ready Full HD footage from it. It operates on more than 120 courts worldwide, broadcasting thousands of matches a year, from basketball through handball to football.
“The new sports hall is one of the most important milestones in our development, and it also creates the opportunity for us to realise a next project that is significant on an international level and will shake up Hungarian basketball too” – said Balázs Radics, managing director of Camugo.

During the modernisation carried out between December 2024 and July 2025 from grant funding, the hall also received new LED lighting and a modern heat-pump heating and cooling system, resulting in a more comfortable environment, significant energy savings, and a lower environmental impact.
ÚjbudaOne – as part of the CityOne group, a home for community, sport, and technology
“Sustainability, innovation, and community building hold a central place in the values of the CityOne Logistics Parks team. We are proud that the renovated hall can be home at once to international-level youth basketball, the daily physical education of schoolchildren, and the enthusiastic play of amateur adult athletes. This project – which we also supported with significant financial resources – is a living example of how we can create value simultaneously for our tenants, the local community, and the Hungarian basketball community” – emphasised Zoltán Radnóty, managing director of the ÚjbudaOne Logistics Park.
